Chosen Foundation Kenya
Empowering Youth, Building Dreams
About us
About us
Our Story
Founded in 1987 during the time of the Molo tragedy, our journey began when our founder used his lorry to transport injured people who had nowhere to go. Amid the chaos, many children were orphaned. To care for these vulnerable souls, he established the Mama Maria Children Home. As these children grew, they became the backbone of a new educational initiative—Bishop Kamau Girls High School—which still thrives today. We proudly serve two groups of students: those who pay school fees and those in Group A, our fee-free learners.
Our Mission & Vision
Our mission has always been—and remains—to provide the basic needs of food, shelter, and education to young Kenyans in need. With our growing facilities and passionate team, we are now envisioning an expansion into college-level education, incorporating healthcare services and IT classes to prepare our students for a modern future.
